Dr. Mahmud Danjuma, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ilorin and Founder of Al-Maqam Islamic Relations (A.I.R), has delivered a wheelchair to the university’s clinic in a bid to bolster its capacity to handle emergency cases effectively.
The gesture, carried out on Monday, was in response to a pledge made by a devoted supporter of A.I.R who visited the clinic and noticed the urgent need for additional medical equipment to cater to the ever-growing student population. The donor, whose identity remains undisclosed, promised to address the gap by donating a wheelchair as a token of support.

The wheelchair was formally handed over to the clinic’s Director, Dr. AbdulRasheed Adekeye Odunola, by Dr. Danjuma, who took time out after his class to fulfill the commitment.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Danjuma said, “AlhamduliLlah, I delivered the wheelchair after my class as part of our commitment to addressing social needs. May Allah bless the donor, Al-Maqam Islamic Foundation, and the University of Ilorin.”
