The Ilorin Emirate Youths Development Association (IEYDA), under the leadership of the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Abdul Sulu Gambari, psc.Until his demise, ACP Gambari served as the Commanding Officer of the Police Mobile Force (PMF) in Kaduna, where he was widely respected for his dedication to duty and commitment to national security.
In a statement signed by IEYDA National President, Alhaji Muhammad Uthman Jagunmo, and released through the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi AbdulFatai Oloyin, the group described his passing as a significant loss to the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State, and the Nigeria Police Force.”We mourn the passing of a gallant officer, a man of honor who served the nation diligently.
His contributions to national security, particularly in Kaduna, will never be forgotten,” the statement read.
The Ilorin Emirate Youths extended heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, the bereaved family, ACP Gambari’s colleagues in the Nigeria Police Force, and the entire Ilorin community.
They prayed for Allah’s mercy upon his soul and for strength and comfort for his loved ones during this difficult time.
