The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association’s Annual Ramadan Lecture Series, which commenced last week, continued with its second and third lectures holding on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

The first lecture, titled “Love for One Another,” was delivered by renowned Islamic scholar, Mallam Suliaman Hasbunallahu from Oko Erin. Mallam Suliaman emphasized the importance of love, compassion, and unity among Muslims, citing relevant Quranic verses and Hadiths.

The second lecture, titled “The Evils of Backbiting,” was delivered by a guest speaker from Asunnara. The speaker shed light on the negative consequences of backbiting and gossiping, and encouraged the audience to cultivate the habit of speaking positively about one another.The lecture series, which will hold every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of Ramadan, aims to promote spiritual growth, self-reflection, and community bonding among Muslim youths in Ilorin Emirate.

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association has called on Muslim youths to take advantage of the lecture series to enrich their knowledge of Islam and to develop a stronger connection with their faith.
In his remarks, the National President of the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association thanked the two lecturers, Mallam Suliaman Hasbunallahu and the guest speaker from Asunnara, for their insightful and thought-provoking presentations. He appreciated their contributions to the association’s efforts to promote spiritual growth and community development.
