The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has officially launched its 2025 WAEC Scholarship Program, offering financial relief to 200 deserving students from public schools across Kwara South, Kwara North, and Kwara Central.
Following the success of last year’s initiative, which supported 139 students in Offa, Oyun LGA, and other areas, the foundation has expanded its scope to include all public secondary schools in Offa, Oyun, and approved registration centers statewide. This year’s program emphasizes inclusivity and impact, ensuring more students benefit from this educational lifeline.
The selection process began today at Offa Grammar School’s library, where secondary school principals convened to receive scholarship forms.
This approach underscores the foundation’s commitment to transparency and fairness, targeting eligible public school students for the program.
In Offa alone, 17 schools, including Offa Grammar School, Ansar Ud Deen College, St. Clare’s Girls College, and Okin High School, are participating. Principals of these schools lauded the initiative, describing it as a groundbreaking effort to advance education and empower Kwara’s youth.
