In a compassionate response to recent fire incidents in Alore and Ita-Amodu communities of Ilorin, Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, has extended a helping hand by donating two million naira and essential relief materials to affected families.
The announcement was made on Sunday in a statement by Nasif Sholagberu, the Senator’s media assistant.
According to the statement, the donation included one million naira each for victims in Alore and Ita-Amodu, as well as food items such as rice, garri, beans, palm oil, and groundnut oil.
Speaking on behalf of Senator Mustapha during the presentation, Alhaji Shuaib Ambali emphasized that the assistance was aimed at alleviating the hardship faced by the victims.
He assured them of the Senator’s unwavering commitment to their welfare, stating, “The plight of the victims is of great concern to the Senator, and he will continue to stand by the people during difficult times.”
The gesture was met with heartfelt gratitude from the beneficiaries.
Representing the Alaparun family in Alore, Engr. Mashood Saayi expressed deep appreciation, saying, “This generous act shows that Senator Mustapha genuinely cares for us. We pray for his continued success and blessings in all his endeavors.”
Similarly, Alhaji Musa Bilewu, Mogaji of Ile Bilewu in Ita-Amodu, praised the Senator’s swift response and described him as a leader dedicated to the well-being of his constituents. “Even before assuming office, Senator Mustapha had consistently shown his commitment to helping the people. May Almighty Allah continue to bless him with good health and wisdom,” Alhaji Bilewu remarked.
The timely intervention by Senator Mustapha has brought much-needed relief to the fire-stricken communities, earning him accolades as a compassionate and responsive public servant.
