In a remarkable gesture of community support, the Turaki of Ilorin, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has announced plans to construct a state-of-the-art pavilion worth N500 million for the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU). Additionally, he has made a cash donation of N25 million to further the union’s developmental initiatives.
This announcement was made during the union’s 59th Annual Conference, held amidst a gathering of prominent figures and descendants of the Ilorin Emirate.
The Senator, represented by the former president of the IEDPU, Alhaji Uthman Baba Otta, reaffirmed his commitment to the advancement of the emirate and its people.
