Promises support over the incident.
The Executive Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government Council, Shehu AbdulRahaman Babatunde Ladan, recently paid a visit to the family of the late Alhaji Qudus Koro, who were severely affected by a devastating fire inferno that gutted their home just recently. During the visit, the chairman sympathized with the family over their loss.

Hon. Ladan assured the family that the local government would offer support in the form of relief materials to help them recover from the tragic incident. He also promised that the necessary steps would be taken to ensure such an unfortunate event does not occur again.

The fire, which destroyed part of the family’s home, left the members of the household in distress. The chairman, accompanied by officials from the local government, including the legislative members Hon. Lukman Onisale (Adewole), Hon. Maruf Olayinka Onibonje (Ubandawaki), Hon. Abdulrasaq Aminullah (Ojuekun Ward), Hon. Olojoku Jimoh (Oloje Ward), Hon. Mumeen Ajape (Oko-Erin Ward), Hon. Abdulhameed Tijani (Badari Ward) and Mr. Faruq Omoiya clerk of the House inspected the site of the fire and spoke to the affected family, offering words of comfort and solidarity.

On behalf of the family, Khalifa Sheik Mudashir Qudus Koro expressed gratitude to the Chairman for his timely visit and the support promised by the local government. He extended his appreciation to Kwara Governor Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON for his humanity in the community while praying for his success in the office.Ladan further called on the community to be vigilant and work together to prevent future disasters. Additionally, he urged residents to report any safety hazards that could lead to fire outbreaks.
